terms and conditions.

These terms apply to consultations and treatments at Dr Munroe Clinic and to your use of this website. Please read them before booking. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights.

who we are

Dr Munroe Clinic is run by Dr Tiffany Munroe, MBBS MRCS, trading as Dr Munroe Aesthetics & Longevity, Room 1, 319 King's Road, London SW3 5EP. Dr Munroe is registered with the General Medical Council, number 7293952. You can contact us at clinic@drmunroe.com or on 020 8050 5195.

who we treat

Treatment is provided only to people aged 18 and over. You agree to give a full and accurate medical history, including medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and previous treatments, and to tell us of any changes before each appointment. We may decline, postpone or stop treatment if we believe it is not in your interests or not clinically appropriate, and where we do, we will explain why and suggest alternatives where possible.

booking

Appointments can be booked by WhatsApp, phone or email. Every new treatment plan begins with a consultation.

The consultation fee is shown on our price list and is paid when you book. It is redeemable against treatment carried out within three months of your consultation.

Treatment deposits. To secure a treatment appointment, we may ask for a deposit, which is deducted from the price of your treatment.

moving or cancelling an appointment

Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to move or cancel an appointment. With 48 hours' notice or more, we will move your appointment or refund your consultation fee or deposit in full.

With less than 48 hours' notice, or if you do not attend, the consultation fee or deposit is kept. We understand that emergencies happen, and we will consider exceptional circumstances.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten your appointment or rebook it, and a late cancellation charge may then apply.

If we need to move or cancel an appointment, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer another appointment or a full refund of anything you have paid.

your right to cancel

If you book by phone, email, WhatsApp or online, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking without giving a reason. If you ask us to provide your appointment within those 14 days and then cancel, we may charge for any part of the service already provided. Once a service has been fully provided, the right to cancel no longer applies. This right is in addition to the cancellation policy above.

prices and payment

Prices are shown on our price list and may change from time to time; the price confirmed when you book is the price you pay. Payment for treatment is due on the day, by card or bank transfer. The price of prescription-only treatments is discussed at consultation, as these medicines cannot be advertised or priced publicly.

courses and packages

Where a course of treatment is paid for in advance, it is valid for 12 months from the first session and cannot be transferred to another person. If you stop a course early, we will refund the amount paid less the full single-session price of the sessions you have already had.

consent and treatment

Before any treatment, the procedure, its risks and side effects, and the alternatives are discussed with you, and your written consent is taken. Prescription-only medicines are prescribed only after a face-to-face consultation, and cannot be bought in advance.

Results vary from person to person, and no particular outcome can be guaranteed. Following the aftercare advice you are given helps your recovery and your result. A follow-up review is available after treatment, and is included where your treatment plan says so.

photographs

Clinical photographs are taken before and after treatment for your medical record. They are not used for any other purpose without your separate written consent.

our responsibility to you

Dr Munroe holds medical indemnity appropriate to her practice. We provide every treatment with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are responsible only for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaching these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that results from information about your health being withheld or inaccurate, or from aftercare advice not being followed, to the extent the loss is caused by that.

complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of your care, please tell us, by email to clinic@drmunroe.com or in writing to the clinic. We will acknowledge your complaint within two working days and aim to give you a full response within 20 working days. If your concern is about a doctor's fitness to practise, you can also contact the General Medical Council at gmc-uk.org.
